PT TWC's 46th Anniversary: A Momentum to Strengthen Togetherness and Strengthen the Development of Indonesia's Tourism Ecosystem
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero) commemorated its 46th anniversary with the theme "From Us, For Us, For the Nation", Wednesday (15/7/2026). Held in the yard of PT TWC Head Office, Sleman, Yogyakarta, the celebration attended by hundreds of employees served as a moment of reflection on the company's journey as well as strengthening its commitment to continue providing benefits to the community, preserving world cultural heritage, and advancing Indonesia's tourism sector.
The 46th anniversary celebration of PT TWC took place in a warm and togetherness atmosphere through a series of activities, starting from the cutting of the tumpeng as a symbol of gratitude for the company's journey for more than four decades.
PT TWC's President Commissioner, Muhammad Tri Andika, said that the company's 46th anniversary marks a phase of maturity for the company to continue moving faster to face the increasingly dynamic challenges of the tourism industry.
"Forty-six is no longer a young age. It's a mature age to become wiser, but also still young enough to continue running fast. This momentum should be an opportunity for us to become better, faster, and more productive," he said.
He added that a company's success is determined not only by its assets, but primarily by the quality of the people who manage it. The theme "From Us, For Us, For the Nation" serves as a reminder that a company's contribution to the nation begins with the quality of its human resources. This spirit affirms that strong organizations are built by individuals with dedication, integrity, and a passion for continuous growth together.
"It's a pleasure to work with people of such capacity, loyalty, and integrity. Let's build a healthy work culture, support each other, and be constructive colleagues, so that a comfortable and positive environment becomes a crucial foundation for achieving peak performance," he explained.
PT TWC's President Director, Febrina Intan, stated that this year's anniversary commemoration was deliberately kept simple so that the main focus would be on the company's people as the main foundation in creating a greater impact on the nation.
"Theme From Us, For Us, For The Country "It means that we won't be able to contribute anything meaningful to the country if we don't have the dedication, commitment, and empowerment to give our best. All major contributions always start with the quality of the people within the organization."
According to Febrina, the existence of PT TWC is not only oriented towards business achievements, but also creates sustainable social, economic, cultural, and environmental impacts.
“Our job is not just to seek profit. We are here to create social economic impact"When communities become more empowered, destinations develop, tourism players grow, and cultural heritage becomes more sustainable, then we are truly building the nation."
She believes the company's 46-year journey has laid a crucial foundation for expanding its role as a world-class destination manager. To realize this vision, Febrina emphasized the importance of changing the mindset of all company employees to avoid narrow perspectives and sectoral egos.
“If we want to have a bigger impact, then mindset "We must change. We must build a tourism ecosystem, not work in isolation. The transformation that occurred at Borobudur is proof that when sectoral egos can be eliminated, major changes can be realized."
Furthermore, he reminded that all PT TWC employees hold a great responsibility as guardians of the world's cultural heritage, which must be passed on to future generations.
"You are the guardian of world heritage. "What we build today isn't just for now, but lays the foundation for the next thousand years. What matters most is how we build a vibrant, growing organization that builds trust, makes decisions together, and continues to deliver benefits for both the company and society."
On that occasion, Febrina also appreciated PT TWC's achievement as a company that successfully obtained the title of Great Place to Work, where 88 percent of employees stated that PT TWC is a workplace that provides space for development, innovation, and is trusted as a positive work environment.
According to him, this achievement is important capital for the company to continue to present innovations in destination management, cultural attraction development, and strengthen Indonesia's position as a world-class cultural tourism destination.
"Going forward, we still have much to achieve together. We want every destination we manage to provide lasting stories, experiences, and impressions for every visitor. That will be the difference and strength of PT TWC in building an increasingly competitive Indonesian tourism ecosystem," he explained.
