BUMN Present for the Country, TWC President Director Hands Over Partnership Program Assistance

BUMN Present for the Country, TWC President Director Hands Over Partnership Program Assistance to Fostered Partners Worth IDR 346
In accordance with the assignment given to BUMN as an agent of development, playing a role in efforts to accelerate the achievement of development goals, namely public welfare in general, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) on Thursday, April 12, 2018 distributed partnership program assistance for fostered partners in the DIY and Central Java regions, the value of which reached Rp. 346. Taking place at Ramayana Resto, the handover of this assistance was handed over directly by the President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Edy Setijono.
“This is a program run by TWC. Indeed, every year the PKBL program must be run in line with the assignment given to BUMN. So BUMN is generally given two tasks by the government, the first is to become an excellent corporation, where it must perform well because our performance will contribute to state revenue through dividends and taxes. Then the second is that we have a task as an agent of development, playing a role in efforts to accelerate the achievement of development goals, namely public welfare in general. This PKBL program is run every year in every BUMN. This time TWC is distributing partnership program assistance to fostered partners in the DIY and Central Java regions, the value of which is around Rp. 346. "said Edy Setijono, President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero).
Edy Setijono also said that this is a beginning that is carried out in the first trimester. Overall, TWC in 2018 will distribute PKBL funds worth 4 billion. This is expected to be a stimulant for the community to be more creative, more productive and they can become independent workers who can prosper their respective families.
“For the criteria to become a TWC fostered partner, one of the things we look at is of course the integrity of the entrepreneur. We conduct an interview first before we provide assistance. There we see whether the entrepreneur has the motivation to progress. And we want that if we provide assistance, the assistance will accelerate their business. If that is the case, then we will provide assistance. Incidentally, in 2017-2018, the ceiling for the Partnership Program assistance in BUMN increased. From 70 million, now it is 200 million. This is an extraordinary opportunity, but this will only be given to entrepreneurs who are motivated to progress greatly. Then we hope for entrepreneurs who want to synergize with each other so that they can also build their own competitiveness. Our presence is only as an accelerator.” Added Edy Setijono.
Regarding management, a few months ago TWC invited all of its fostered partners to be given knowledge management about digital marketing. Fostered partners are taught to market, not only conventionally, but also marketing in digital media because in BUMN Synergy there are also many marketplaces that can be used for transactions of fellow fostered partners.
Meanwhile, Sigit, one of TWC's PKBL Fostered Partners from Brajan Prambanan, expressed his gratitude to TWC for the cooperation that has been carried out so that his business is currently growing.
“After I got to know TWC, my business has grown and I myself am more enthusiastic about working because I was helped by TWC. I would like to thank TWC because my dreams have come true, I am touched and very happy to cooperate with TWC. My business is an iron shop and brick production. I have been doing this for 5 years, then I got to know TWC, my business has grown. Initially my business was small, and it has grown bigger because of the help of TWC. My turnover per month is around 30 million. Now I have two vehicles. I hope my business can grow even more and I can open another branch. " Sigit explained.
