The 2025 Christmas and 2026 New Year holidays saw a surge in tourist numbers compared to normal days. InJourney Destination Management (IDM) recorded a total of 285.060 visits to the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park (TWC), Prambanan Ratu Boko Palace, and the Theater and Performance Units from December 20–31, 2025.
