The Prambanan Ramayana Ballet, also known as the Prambanan Ramayana Ballet, is a dance and drama performance based on the Ramayana story and performed near Prambanan Temple on the island of Java, Indonesia. The Prambanan Ramayana Ballet has been the most frequently performed dance drama since 1961.

The Prambanan Ramayana Ballet is usually held every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday, performances on the open stage (Open Stage) only in the dry month, outside of that the performances are held on the closed stage (Trimurti Stage).
History of Ramayana
The Ramayana story is about Rama's journey to save his wife Sita (in Java usually called Sinta) who was kidnapped by the king of Alengka, Rahwana.
