Supporting the Improvement of the Human Development Index, IIKK TWC Holds Bakti Kartini
The Association of Wives of Employees of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) in collaboration with the Sleman Regency Health Office, PKBL Fostered Partners and Rumah Kreatif Jogja from BRI held a Bakti Kartini for Indonesia event in commemoration of the birth of Indonesian figure Mrs. Kartini on Monday, April 30, 2018 at Trimurti Prambanan.
In addition to the bazaar, a seminar entitled Immunization reviewed from the religious, medical and pharmaceutical perspectives was also held, aimed not only as an appeal to carry out immunization but more to increase the insight of today's Kartinis, especially mothers, to be able to take appropriate actions for children. Then there was also a fashion show and Maumere gymnastics. This was conveyed by the Chairperson of IIKK TWC Heriyanti Suzana Edy Setijono.
"For seminar participants from sub-districts in Sleman Regency, then also from Klaten Regency, including the Heads of PAUD, Kindergarten and Elementary Schools. Our bazaar is open to the general public around the Candi Tourism Park and also for several sub-districts in Klaten Regency. We want today's Kartinis to have broader insights and always improve their capacity so that they can act appropriately and wisely, especially for themselves and also for their children." Suzan said.
Meanwhile, the President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Edy Setijono said that this activity was aimed at contributing to increasing the Human Development Index in the health and economic sectors.
"It just so happened that yesterday we held a BUMN coordination meeting where one of the things conveyed in the coordination meeting was delivered by the Minister of Bappenas, that one of the development targets that we must achieve in 2019 is related to the Human Development Index. As we know, this HDI has 3 important components. Health, Education and Economy or Community Income. Our Bakti Kartini activity this time is supported by PKBL TWC which is indeed directed to contribute to increasing this HDI, especially health and community income. " said Edy Setijono.
Edy Setijono also said that health issues are something that must be considered, especially for children because they are the successors of the nation.
"Health is an important thing for us to pay attention to, especially for our children. Because they will be our next generation, one of which is immunization. Indeed, immunization is not the only instrument, but immunization is an important thing for us to do because it is a preventive activity. So we try to protect our children as early as possible from diseases that have recently been quite concerning and this has contributed to the decline in our nation's health index. So we hope that in the seminar there is an understanding of the importance of children's health for all of us. " added Edy Setijono
