Evaluation of KPKU Taman Wisata Candi, TWC President Director Edy Setijono: "2021 We Will Become an Indonesian Heritage Management Corporation"
Located at the Head Office of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero), starting today, Monday, January 22, 2018 until the next week, the Evaluation of Superior Performance Assessment Criteria (KPKU) will take place. In the event on the first day, the Assessor Team consisting of 5 people led by Wibowo Suharyanto was welcomed by the President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Edy Setijono along with the board of directors and the internal team of Taman Wisata Candi.
“It doesn’t feel like 1 year has passed and we meet again in this KPKU forum. A very important activity, an activity that we must carry out to organize strategies and quality in the company to ensure that what we have done in the past year is in line step by step for us to achieve business goals. As we know, in 2016 our company’s performance was very good, we were appreciated by the ministry. We need to be grateful that our joint work has yielded relatively good results. “This was conveyed by the President Director of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) Edy Setijono.
“In 2017, our achievements jumped quite well. An increase of approximately 43%. I think this is one thing that we get from all our hard work. The Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko Temple Tourism Park, in line with the direction of the Ministry of SOEs, we are asked to carry out a transformation. The transformation of TWC in 2021 is expected to be what we call the Indonesian Heritage Management Corporation. This is not an easy job but it is a challenge that we must face. And this makes us have to prepare ourselves.” Said Edy Setijono.
“There are 3 things we have to do that we have been implementing since 2017. The first is mindset, that in the future our focus will not only be on managing temples. Managing temples is different from managing heritage sites. This is what we have been socializing since 2017. The second is skillset. This skillset is important for us to develop in the future because the variants that we will develop later will be different. How do we manage building heritage, cultural heritage. And the third is toolset. We also need to complete this toolset. In an organization, toolset is the organizational structure. Therefore, in 2018, we will develop forms of structures that we know as business programs. We will start in 2018 with heritage sites that we may manage that are not temples. " added Edy Setijono.
“The five of us express our sincere gratitude for being given the trust to conduct this assessment through an assignment from the Ministry of SOEs. We hope that later everyone will support each other. We are grateful that the President Director can attend together with the entire internal team so that we can feel togetherness. We read the template, the purpose of the assessment is the company's overall performance from the contents of the process and results based on the 2015 BUMN KPKU superior performance assessment criteria. Then provide useful feedback that can be followed up to encourage the company's performance in the future. " as conveyed by the Head of the Assessor Team Wibowo Suharyanto.
