The day before Nyepi celebration, thousands of Hindus fill the courtyard of Prambanan Temple since morning to participate in the Tawur Agung Kesanga celebration. The series of ceremonies consisting of mendak tirta, pradaksina, tawur agung, and joint prayer are aimed at cleansing the earth.
