Bringing the Spirit of Empowerment to Create Meaningful Works at the 2026 IDM Town Hall
InJourney Destination Management held its 2026 Town Hall Meeting with the theme "Empowerment" at the Trimurti Building, Ramayana Theater and Performance Complex, Sleman, on Thursday (January 15, 2026). This event served as a crucial opportunity to unify our vision, strengthen collaboration, and affirm our shared passion for facing the challenges and opportunities of the future of Indonesian tourism.
The 2026 Town Hall Meeting carries the theme "Empowerment" "From Steps Grows Work, from Work Creates Meaning" as an invitation for all InJourney Destination Management people to become strong individuals, empower each other, and walk together in presenting more meaningful work.
"Empowerment is not about who is who . Empowerment is what we empower ourselves. Don't depend on other people, don't just wait to be told. Have initiative, strong ownership , do it, work on it, and fix it," explained the Main Director of InJourney Destination Management, Febrina Intan, in her speech.
InJourney Destination Management's President Commissioner Muhammad Tri Andika explained the concept of steps, growing works, from works, meaning is created, inviting all IDM people to not just work without a goal, but to play a role in producing works that result in a meaningful legacy.
"If work only ends with a report, but if the work ends with a legacy, this empowerment sends a deeper message that all of us here need to contribute. legacy"If work only ends in a report, then work should end in a legacy," he explained.
The 2026 IDM Town Hall Meeting featured InJourney's President Commissioner, Iwan Setiawan, who shared how a simple childhood dream empowered him to pursue it. The story serves as a reminder of the importance of embracing simple dreams and daring to pursue them wholeheartedly.
He also emphasized that the transformation journey, which began in 2023 and continues to this day, is the result of the entire team's collaborative efforts, built through trust and collaboration between individual roles.
"We begin this journey by building trust. Trust in ourselves, trust in those to our left and right, trust in those below us and those above us. With mutual trust, we can make an impact, not only on ourselves but also on society," he added.

This reflection affirms that strength is built from the courage of each individual to dream and grow. The 2026 Town Hall Meeting felt even more meaningful as it encouraged all company employees to use dreams as the foundation for building shared strength and hope.
"Now, empower ourselves. Whatever we do, whatever we empower, must bring goodness, must uphold the truth," added Febrina Intan.
In addition to serving as a space for reflection, the 2026 Town Hall Meeting also serves as a strategic forum to align the company's direction and strategy. Open dialogue between management and employees fosters a collaborative, innovative, and supportive work culture across the company.
The Town Hall Meeting was attended by management and all InJourney Destination Management staff. The enthusiasm and active participation of participants reflected a shared commitment to continued growth, adaptation, and contribution to the sustainable development of Indonesian tourism.
Through the spirit of "Empowerment," InJourney Destination Management is optimistic that it can move into 2026 with a stronger foundation and deliver increasingly meaningful work and impact.
