Dewa 30's 19th Anniversary Concert Successfully Activates Tourism World
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko fully supports the 30th Anniversary Concert of Dewa 19 Legends Never Die at the Brahmana Field, Prambanan Temple Tourism Park Complex, Saturday (6/8/2022). The concert, which was attended by five thousand spectators from various regions in Indonesia, was a success and added to the list of the most magnificent and spectacular music concerts held in the largest Hindu temple area in Indonesia.
This event was held thanks to the cooperation between PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) or InJourney with Otello Asia as the event promoter and PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko as the manager of the Prambanan Temple tourist area. This event was also sponsored by BRI, Livin by Mandiri, BRI insurance and FORTE.
President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono appreciated the implementation of the 30th Anniversary Concert of Dewa 19 in Prambanan. According to him, this concert is one of the memorial milestones that will be remembered by its fans, considering the concert with a full formation, with two drummers and four vocalists, which is the first time Dewa 19 has done it.
"Once again, Prambanan is a milestone for the journey of a phenomenal Indonesian band, where they performed in a full formation that was awaited by their fans. This is one of the music performances that will be remembered by their fans," he explained.
The Dewa 30 19th Anniversary Concert was also considered successful in accelerating the economic recovery process, especially in the tourism sector in the DI Yogyakarta and Central Java areas. This is proven by the large influx of tourists entering this area and activating the tourism industry and its supporters.
"We see a massive movement of spectators from various regions. This certainly also activates tourism support services in the region. Of course, this is a spur for tourism actors to rise again with fresh visions, towards this post-recovery era," he explained.
The Prambanan Temple tourist destination area as a cultural heritage tourist attraction has hosted several national and international music concerts. PT TWC is committed to presenting special events that help accelerate the destination, both in terms of the number of visits, potential and attention into a classy and monumental show.
Dewa 19, who were present for 3 full hours and brought four vocalists and two drummers, presented an unforgettable monumental performance. A mass choir accompanied by cellphone flashlights from the Baladewa and Baladewi who came from various regions in Indonesia accompanied the 30 songs performed by Dewa 19 at this concert.
