National Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Day Commemoration: Commitment to Employees and Productivity
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko presented a series of events to commemorate the 3 National Occupational Safety and Health (K2024) Day. With the theme "Cultivate K3, Healthy and Safe at Work, Maintain Business Continuity", the series of activities started from joint exercise to the peak of the blood donation action at the Yogyakarta Special Region Manpower Office on February 28, 2024.
Joint exercise activities were the opening action held on Friday, February 23. Joint exercise which was attended by dozens of employees from across divisions aimed to raise awareness of the importance of K3 in the workplace and encourage a healthy lifestyle among employees. Not only that, this activity was also to strengthen team bonds, promote health, and raise awareness of the importance of K3 in every aspect of work activities.
Corporate Secretary of PT TWC AY Suhartanto in his speech emphasized the importance of K3 as the main foundation for sustainable productivity. "PT TWC believes that employees who feel safe and protected in the workplace will make a greater contribution to the success of the company. Therefore, the commemoration of National K3 Day is a momentum for all of us to reflect on our shared commitment to creating a safe and healthy work environment," he said.
As a commitment to K3, PT TWC continues to improve safety infrastructure in all its facilities, including improved fire warning installations, personal protective equipment, and routine maintenance on machine equipment. These steps are not only intended to protect employees, but also to reduce the risk and injury of accidents that can disrupt the company's operational productivity.
Direct employee involvement in occupational safety efforts is a major focus of PT TWC. Through an internal K3 committee, employees are encouraged to participate in risk identification, safety procedure development, and transparent incident reporting. This reflects the collaborative culture and shared responsibility that PT TWC has instilled.
