Prambanan Conference Commemorating 30 Years of Prambanan Temple as a World Cultural Heritage

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) is committed to opening up and collaborating with all parties to develop the benefits of Prambanan Temple. This was stated directly by the Marketing and Service Director of PT TWC Hetty Herawati during the 30th Anniversary Commemoration of Prambanan as a World Cultural Heritage at Rama Shinta Garden Resto, Wednesday (22/12/2021).

"We are committed to continuing the good collaboration so far and supporting activities from the community, religion and conservation. Many activities originate from Prambanan Temple and involve many stakeholders. We realize that Prambanan Temple will continue to live through these activities," he explained.

PT TWC as the manager of zone II of Prambanan Temple, implements management, governance, and excellent products and services. This is a form of commitment to the Outstanding Universal Value of Prambanan Temple whose sustainability is the responsibility of all parties.

"TWC plays a role in ensuring that this OUV is maintained, both in terms of management, CHSE, and content whose values ​​are represented, both in products and services. We collaborate between stakeholders, the community, and the government to work hand in hand to preserve these values," he continued.

This activity is an initiative of the Directorate General of Hindu Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia in collaboration with PT TWC. The Prambanan Conference, which was carried out in a hybrid manner, is a series of events to commemorate the 30th Anniversary of Prambanan Temple as a World Cultural Heritage.

Through the theme of Spreading Spiritual Values, from Indonesia to the World, the Coordinator of the Special Staff of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, AGGN Ari Dwipayana, said that Prambanan Temple is a symbol of Indonesian civilization.

"Prambanan Temple is the result of the thoughts and works of Nusantara architectural experts who have mastered the technology of the ancestors of the Indonesian nation at that time," he said, who was present virtually.

Director of Religious Affairs of the Directorate General of Hindu Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religion, Trimo, said that he encouraged various stakeholders to work together more in an effort to spread the development of spiritual values ​​and Hindu civilization in the archipelago to the world.

"Prambanan Temple has extraordinary spiritual values, for that we must show and spread them so that the values ​​born from the spirit of the archipelago can be an inspiration to the world," he said.

Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno hopes that the use of Prambanan Temple as a world cultural heritage will also have a positive impact on the surrounding community.

"We hope that the utilization of Prambanan Temple as a world cultural heritage will bring positive impacts from the cultural, economic, and social sectors to the surrounding community," said Sandiaga virtually.
