PT TWC Collaborates with KPK to Instill Integrity Values to All TMII Employees
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) is collaborating with several parties to help the transformation process of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) management in the future. One of them is the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
PT TWC collaborated with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to develop anti-bribery, anti-gratification, and whistleblowing systems (WBS) in line with the spirit of integrity in implementing good corporate governance. This announcement was made during the AKHLAK and Corporate Governance Socialization event on Friday (August 13, 2021). The event was held in a hybrid format, adhering to strict health protocols, and was attended by nearly 700 TMII employees via Zoom.
Director of Finance, Investment, Risk Management & HR Palwoto said that his party will collaborate with the Financial and Development Supervisory Agency (BPKP) and the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) in the transition process at TMII.
"Together with BPKP we work together on financial issues. While with KPK we want to maintain the integrity corridor in the company environment. I hope the values that exist in BUMN can be applied here," he explained.
Head of the KPK RI Complaint Handling Task Force Amir Arif said that the KPK is very open and happy with PT TWC's invitation to collaborate in implementing the internalization of the AKHLAK attitude for the management of TMII in the future. This is in line with the focus of developing anti-corruption values in efforts to prevent corruption in the company.
"Synergize with the KPK to strengthen the AKHLAK culture. We are ready to contribute to strengthening the integrity value in advancing TMII in the future. Hopefully, the steps in building a complaint system, a good anti-corruption system can make TWC and TMII a healthy and professional company," he said.
The KPK itself is a partner of the Ministry of SOEs in strengthening the AKHLAK culture in SOEs. In building a complaint system and anti-corruption culture, a strong commitment is needed, starting from the board of directors, managers and followed by other parties.
"We appreciate this meeting. I believe that with you attending this event, it is a commitment to build an anti-corruption culture," he continued.
Risk Management, Regulation & Quality Control Manager of PT TWC Prima Bagus invited TMII employees to be actively involved and work together in overseeing positive performance in the management of TMII in the future. "The KPK is present as a companion for you while working and finds intervention from outside parties or discomfort while working. When there is potential that disrupts the destination, please report it to us. Hopefully we can together oversee this attitude in the future," he said.
