PT TWC Holds Borobudur Creative Race 2022
This year's Central Java Anniversary (HUT Jateng) is commemorated on August 15, 2022, with the theme Gumregah Bareng Gayeng. The World Tourism Day moment is also commemorated on September 27, 2022. These two moments are the motivation for the tourism world, especially Central Java, to 'Recover Faster, Rise Stronger' as the theme of the 77th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia this year.
Central Java has many interesting tourism potentials to visit. One of its main magnets is Borobudur Temple, which has a variety of potentials in the fields of culinary, arts and culture, nature, crafts, and so on.
The wealth of tourism potential must continue to be introduced and promoted to the wider community. One way is through organizing events.
In order to develop and connect tourism in the area as a buffer for the Super Priority Tourism Destination of Borobudur Temple, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (PT TWC) in collaboration with Bitread held the Borobudur Creative Race (BRACE) event. The BRACE event focuses on educational content that is correlated with Borobudur Temple, as well as elements of empowering the surrounding community.
Borobudur Creative Race is a technology-based educational game event, inspired by the reliefs of Borobudur Temple, played in teams to solve secret missions in the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park area and the surrounding area.
“This event is specifically designed to introduce and promote Borobudur Temple and its surroundings. Participants will be invited to adventure and explore the historical value of Borobudur Temple and its surrounding areas, with a touch of technology. The implementation of this event takes place at several locations in Central Java which will change every year. In the first year of the event, we chose Borobudur as the embryo. BRACE is packaged interactively, so it is very interesting for participants to follow,” said Pujo Suwarno, Marketing & Sales Vice President of PT TWC.
BRACE will be held on Saturday, September 17, 2022, located in the Borobudur Temple Tourism Park complex and its surrounding areas. This event is open to the general public. Medals and prizes of tens of millions of rupiah have been prepared for the winners.
