PT TWC INAUGURATES FOUR RTLH IN GUNUNGKIDUL

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) through the Environmental Social Responsibility (TJSL) program inaugurated the construction of 4 Livable Houses in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta, Friday (22/1/2021). This agenda was carried out as a form of effort to eradicate poverty in the community, a healthy and prosperous life according to the Pillars of Social Development-TPB 1,3.
"One of the TJSL program agendas in the form of RTLH development is a means for us as a BUMN company to participate in poverty alleviation efforts, especially in the DIY and Central Java regions. We hope that this program can be a driving force for making changes and improving the quality of life of the community," said PT TWC Corporate Secretary Emilia Eny Utari when opening the inauguration of Undari's habitable house in Grogol 4 Hamlet, Bejiharjo Village, Karangmojo Sub-district, Gunungkidul.
A total of four RTLH spread across Kapanewonan Ponjong, Karangmojo and Nglipar Gunungkidul are the targets of the TJSL program of PT TWC as a form of implementation of BUMN Untuk Indonesia. TJSL Manager of PT TWC Bambang Sarwo Eddy hopes that this house can realize the welfare of its residents.
"We hope that a decent house will provide health and eligibility to live with his family. We hope, please, that it can be maintained and guarded. He explained.
Karangmojo Sub-district Head, Marwoto Hadi, said that there are still many uninhabitable houses in his area.
"There is quite a lot of data on uninhabitable houses in our area. Although we have scheduled and proposed rehabilitation for several years, the increasing number of people means that poverty data is also increasing. We would like to express our gratitude for the implementation of the agenda that plays a role in reducing uninhabitable houses, especially in Kapanewonan Karangmojo, Gunungkidul," he explained.
One of the aid recipients, Widodo (47 years old) expressed his gratitude for the aid given to his family. "Of course the house is more comfortable than before. We will definitely live in it until we are old and I will take care of it properly," explained the resident of Kedungkeris Village, Nglipar, Gunungkidul.
