PT TWC Commemorates One Year of AKHLAK

The Board of Commissioners, the board of directors and the entire extended family of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) attended the One Year AKHLAK commemoration event, Wednesday (28/7/2021). The event, which was held online, was carried out as a form of internalization of AKHLAK values ​​to stakeholders in the BUMN company environment.

President Commissioner of PT TWC Kacung Marijan in his speech said that AKHLAK as the basic value of the Ministry of SOEs is the starting point for employees to carry out work for the nation and state. This noble value is an important foundation for developing the company in the future.

"At the age of one year, AKHLAK has become a common starting point in developing the company. Not only is it a guideline for the company, but the talents in it can also be used by other companies. This can happen and is possible, because it has the same basic values," he said.

The function of AKHLAK itself, according to Kacung Marijan, can be the main capital in developing the company. This is in line with PT TWC's task in developing Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) in the future.

"AKHLAK will make it easier to glue everything together. This integration, including the third value, is harmony. Both (TWC and TMII) already know each other, but by joining this, they can collaborate well. Collaboration allows for good cooperation in facing challenges in the midst of this pandemic," he continued.

Director of Finance, HR & Investment Palwoto explained that the birth of AKHLAK came from Top Down and Bottom Up. "Top Down comes from the policy of the Minister of SOEs. While Bottom Up looks at the core values ​​of each SOE. SOE companies must have basic values ​​that are almost similar to others. The Ministry of SOEs summarizes this into one in this AKHLAK," he explained.

According to Palwoto, PT TWC itself has implemented AKHLAK values ​​in corporate governance and carrying out work activities in the office. "We cooperate with the KPK in avoiding corrupt practices. We also carry out online sharing strategies, where friends can share with each other and enliven the discussion space," he continued.

Palwoto added that PT TWC has been very good in implementing AKHLAK in company activities. This is proven by zero fraud or extraordinary events that disrupt the company's operations.

"We can implement the GCG principles well and be accountable for the mandate by shareholders. Hopefully we can maintain this properly and become part of our spirit in implementing BUMN AKHLAK," he concluded.
