PT TWC Wins Awards in Social Media and Corporate Communications
Corporate Communication (Corcomm) of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) opened the beginning of 2021 by winning an award in the field of Social Media and Corporate Campaign at the BUMN Corporate Communications and Sustainability Summit (BCOMSS) in Jakarta, Friday (29/1/2021). This award is a manifestation of the Ministry of BUMN's attention to the communication behavior of BUMN companies during this pandemic.
Marketing and Service Director of PT TWC Hetty Herawati received the award directly from the Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir. For PT TWC, this award is a new spirit to continue working by spreading positive information and the Company's optimism during the pandemic.
"During this pandemic, we want to invite business actors, especially in the tourism sector, to remain enthusiastic and optimistic. We want to keep tourism alive," and continue to contribute to the country, said Hetty Herawati
One form of campaign presented by PT TWC is Ready For Safe Tourism. The campaign held in June 2020 invites tourism people in Indonesia and especially the city of Yogyakarta to remain optimistic and welcome the revival of tourism in the New Normal era.
"The spirit that we echo in Ready For Safe Tourism is an important provision to welcome tourism in the New Normal era. We will continue to maintain this spirit until the situation returns to normal," continued Hetty Herawati.
PT TWC also continues to optimize digital and social media in communicating its company activities. Through the reliable Corporate Communication (Corcomm) team of the Company Secretariat, the messages that want to be conveyed to netizens through social media can be well established.
Meanwhile, Minister of SOEs Erick Thohir said that trust is the most important key in SOE environmental communication.
"I must emphasize again that when talking about communications and sustainability, the most important thing is trust. It is impossible for us to communicate well if trust is low. It is impossible for us to carry out good sustainability if we are not trusted," said Minister Erick Thohir.
According to Erick, as many as 60 percent of state-owned companies always get positive news from various media. In fact, 80 percent of them get a positive response from the public.
Erick also expressed his gratitude to the young generation in BUMN who managed to maintain a good perception to the public. "A perception that is not an image but a good implementation that is directly felt by the public," he concluded.
