PT TWC Distributes Qurban Meat to Communities and Orphanages in DIY and Central Java

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (PT TWC) participated in the sacrifice on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1444 H. This routine activity is carried out as a form of corporate social responsibility to the community in the company's environment and to social institutions in need. 

PT TWC sacrificed four cows and two goats which were distributed to residents around the PT TWC office area covering the DI Yogyakarta and Central Java regions. The slaughter was carried out in each work unit, including the PT TWC Head Office and the Prambanan TWC Unit Office with one cow each and the Keraton Ratu Boko TWC Unit Office with two goats. Meanwhile, the Borobudur TWC Unit Office distributed two cows to the people of Ngadiharjo Village and Karangrejo Village, Borobudur District, Magelang, Central Java. 

In addition to the community around the PT TWC office, the distribution of sacrificial meat was also distributed to several orphanages in the Sleman, Bantul and Yogyakarta City areas. Some of these orphanages include the Muhammadiyah Ringinsari Orphanage for Orphans and the Poor, the Al Barokah Madurejo Orphanage, the Yapitu Piyungan Orphanage, and the Madania Gedong Kuning Orphanage, Yogyakarta. 

Corporate Secretary of PT TWC AY Suhartanto said that the distribution of sacrificial meat is a real manifestation of PT TWC's presence for the surrounding community. Social responsibility continues to be consistently carried out through direct assistance and empowerment programs that can meet the ability to meet the needs of families and communities to be more prosperous. 

"Qurban is a means of establishing brotherhood with the community and other social institutions. Through qurban, we hone our social awareness of the real conditions of the surrounding community. Through this spirit of togetherness, we can later encourage more powerful programs to improve social conditions, which will have an impact on improving the welfare of the Indonesian people," he explained. 

Through the spirit of Heritage in Harmony , PT TWC continues to collaborate with various parties to present social responsibility programs through participatory and inclusive community empowerment and charitable care activities. "Hopefully, PT TWC's presence can contribute to providing benefits to the community, especially in the areas of social, economic, and environmental development that are targeted and have measurable impacts and aim to create a more independent and prosperous society," he concluded.
