PT TWC Cultivates Moral Values in Work Patterns at TMII
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) is fostering AKHLAK values in the workplace at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). This was achieved through a hybrid AKHLAK (Trustworthy, Competent, Harmonious, Loyal, Adaptive, and Collaborative) socialization program held at the Sasono Langen Budoyo Building, TMII, Jakarta, on Friday (August 13, 2021).
The activity, which was attended by almost 700 TMII employees online, is part of the process of internalizing the core values that serve as guidelines in the Ministry of SOEs. This process is important so that in the future, TMII, which has become part of SOEs, can be in line with the vision and mission of the Indonesian government.
"Ladies and gentlemen have become part of the BUMN family. So this socialization is important for all of us. This is part of our process of adapting and collaborating. Making TWC and TMII aligned and one step closer to achieving the vision and mission in the future," explained WS President Director of PT TWC Mardijono Nugroho when opening this activity.
Mardijono Nugroho also invited the socialization participants to instill AKHLAK values in their daily behavior. One of the main ones is to maintain an attitude of integrity in working. "One main principle is to maintain integrity. If this is not maintained, we will not hesitate to take serious and firm action," he said.
Director of Finance, Investment, Risk Management & HR Palwoto hopes that the AKHLAK values can be implemented as a commitment to bring TMII to a better place.
"AKHLAK is our contribution process to the company and also part of HR development and coaching. We hope that this is not just words, but also lived and carried out as a commitment to behavior in the company environment," he explained.
According to Palwoto, every company has goals and values that need to be achieved. This is stated in a core value or basic values in running a company. The Ministry of SOEs summarizes this in the AKHLAK core value.
" The insight is the same, there must be integrity and professionalism. These basic principles are translated into keywords as corporate culture , conveyed with affirmations and manifested through behavior and attitudes," he continued. During the activity, an integrity pact was also read to comply with the values of good corporate governance and in line with the core values of AKHLAK. In addition, PT TWC also collaborates with the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to build a system and tools for anti-bribery, gratification, and a Whistleblowing System (WBS). This demonstrates PT TWC's seriousness in managing TMII in a better direction.
