PT TWC Vaccinates Tourists at Borobudur Temple

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) is carrying out vaccinations for employees who work in the Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur area, Magelang, Central Java. This program is carried out to create a safe destination for tourists.

This vaccination is carried out by involving employees in the Joint Vaccination Program of BUMN which is located at PRPP Semarang, Central Java. This vaccination process will be carried out in stages, starting from Tuesday (13/4) to Thursday (15/4).

"We have a quota of around 600 participants. We have registered all of them and divided them into three groups. For the first day, there are already 173 employees registered for the vaccine," explained Vice President of Organization & Human Capital Development Ririn Murdianingsih when met in Semarang, Central Java, Tuesday (13/4/2021).

Employees included in the joint vaccination program with BUMN include employees working in three different units, namely, the TWC Borobudur unit, Manohara Borobudur Resto and the Samudra Raksa Museum. The professions of the vaccine participants are also diverse, ranging from security and visitor service officers, restaurant waiters, cleaners, tourist transportation personnel, tour guides and office operations.

"The hope is that it will be ready to welcome tourists and help create a safe and comfortable tourism ecosystem to visit," continued Ririn.

She added that all participants of the Joint Vaccination of BUMN will be included until the second vaccination program. "We have inputted data to all participants. However, for the second phase of vaccination, we are still waiting for further confirmation from the ministry," said Ririn.

One of the vaccine participants, Muh Rofik, said that his participation increased his confidence in interacting with fellow employees and stakeholders from outside the office environment.

"So we are more confident once the vaccination program is completed and we can interact with colleagues and tourists comfortably and confidently," said the Partnership employee.

Meanwhile, PT TWC itself has carried out vaccinations for hundreds of employees and tourism actors in the Prambanan Temple area, Ratu Boko, Ramayana and Rama Shinta Resto and The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta in early April.

"Through comprehensive vaccination and supported by the Cleanliness, Health, Safety and Environmental Sustainability (CHSE) certification that has been obtained by all tourist destinations managed by PT TWC, we are confident that our destinations are safe and comfortable for tourists to visit," said Corporate Secretary of PT TWC Emilia Eny Utari, adding.
