Celebrating 42nd Anniversary, PT TWC Presents "Work Strengthens Hope"
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko is entering its 42nd year. Various activities were carried out to enliven the anniversary of TWC entitled Berkarya Kuatkan Asa at the Trimurti Building, Ramayana Theater & Stage Unit complex, Prambanan, Sleman, Friday (15/7/2022).
The series of activities to celebrate TWC's 42nd Anniversary were attended by the Board of Commissioners, Board of Directors and Senior Leaders of TWC, the Workers' Union, the Management of the Association of Female and Female Employees (IIKK) of PT TWC, the Employee Cooperative, the Brotherhood of Former TWC Employees (PERMATA), as well as all employees of work units and subsidiaries, both from TMII, The Manohara Hotel Yogyakarta, Bhiva Indonesia and CBT Nusantara.
In his speech, President Director of PT TWC Edy Setijono invited all TWC people to be grateful for the achievements that have been achieved so far. Not to forget, Edy Setijono also advised employees to make this anniversary moment a momentum to contemplate and continue to transform, improve their capabilities and potential to face challenges in the future.
"In the future, we want to not only manage Indonesia's heritage and cultural potential, but also develop and strengthen our potential in managing heritage destinations internationally, at least in Asia. Our hope is to become a benchmark company for heritage management globally in the next 10 years. We must prepare for this goal now," said Edy Setijono.
PT TWC President Commissioner Kacung Marijan said that during its 42-year journey of contributing to the nation and state, TWC has carried out its duties perfectly in making Indonesia a world-class cultural heritage destination.
"At 42 years old, it's like 25 years old, still energetic and enthusiastic in pursuing the vision for the future. This certainly requires support and synergy from all parties. Hopefully in the future, TWC will continue to grow, and can expand to manage other destinations in Indonesia," he said.
InJourney's HR and Digital Director Herdy Rosadi Harman in his online speech gave positive appreciation to TWC which has brought the TWC Borobudur, Prambanan, Ratu Boko destinations as well as the Ramayana and Roro Jonggrang Ballet performances to become world-class destinations. Herdy Harman is confident that TWC will become a world-class heritage.
"With the support of the Government through the Ministry of SOEs, TWC will become very big. It must be managed professionally. The foundation must be stronger, healthier, good contributions from taxes, dividends and employees will be more prosperous. Management plays a role in that welfare. Later, the surrounding community will also feel the impact," he said.
The series of thanksgiving and celebration activities consisted of various activities including the cutting of tumpeng and creative performances from each work unit. To enliven the celebration, PT TWC also held a Tik-Tok video competition, blood donation and a pilgrimage to the grave of the company's founder.
