Pension Fund Management Synergy for Employee Welfare

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko established a pension fund management cooperation with the Financial Institution Pension Fund (DPLK) of PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. This is presented as a form of the company's main commitment to improving employee welfare through professional and trusted pension fund management.

The synergy between BUMN began with a ceremonial handover of cooperation documents attended by the Director of Finance, Risk Management and HR of PT TWC Mohamad Nur Sodiq, VP of Organization & Human Capital Development of PT TWC Triasmono and Head of BNI KC UGM Yogyakarta Indi Kuswiyono at the Pendopo of the PT TWC Head Office, Sleman, Yogyakarta, Tuesday (4/7/2023).

In his remarks, Director of Finance, Risk Management and HR of PT TWC Mohamad Nur Sodiq hoped that pension fund management could be carried out professionally and with integrity.

"So that later employee welfare until retirement, at the time of retirement, can be realized through the ownership of sufficient severance pay," he explained.

Mohamad Nur Sodiq also explained that before this decision was made, PT TWC had conducted an assessment and evaluation. This is a follow-up to the previous pension fund program evaluation.

"It is indeed necessary to solve this problem. We must evaluate and issue a new DPLK, so that employee retirement funds will be safe and provide good revenue and returns," he added.

Head of BNI KC UGM Yogyakarta Indi Kuswiyono explained that the management of pension funds by BNI is a manifestation of the mandate of Law No. 11 of 1992. Since 1994, BNI has carried out this mandate by managing pension funds, both from BUMN, ASN, and the private sector.

"The birth of this pension fund management is the result of the implementation of the law, so we must implement it as well as possible. This is our pride to be able to serve our partners," he explained.

Indi Kuswiyono explained that in its services later, PT TWC will be supported by four branch offices, namely the Magelang and Klaten Branch Offices, the UGM Branch Office and the Yogyakarta Branch Office. This is a manifestation of BNI's commitment to providing excellent service for PT TWC.

"The management of cultural tourism parks is our concern. Hopefully the synergy and friendship will not only stop at Simponi BNI in managing pension funds. We are also ready if entrusted to be able to serve further," he concluded.
