PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (hereinafter referred to as PT TWC) was established on July 15, 1980 based on the Company's Deed of Establishment made by Notary Soeleman Ardjasasmita, SH Number 19 dated July 15, 1980 along with its latest amendments Number 11 dated December 4, 2013 Jo. Number 29 dated December 22, 2015 by Notary Woro Sutristiassiwi Sri Wahyuni, SH., and received State Capital Participation of the Republic of Indonesia for the Establishment of a Limited Liability Company in accordance with Government Regulation Number 7 of 1980.

PT TWC has the intent and purpose to conduct business in the field of environmental management of Borobudur Temple, Prambanan Temple and Ratu Boko Palace as well as other cultural and cultural heritage as a Tourism Park and Business in the tourism sector, as well as optimizing the use of resources owned by the Company to produce high quality and highly competitive goods/or services.

As a subsidiary of a State-Owned Enterprise (BUMN), currently all shares of PT TWC are owned by the Government of Indonesia. Holding the spirit of transformation as Indonesia Heritage Management, PT TWC's main business areas are divided into 4 pillars, namely Heritage Park, Cultural Park, Amenities and Attraction and supported by subsidiaries PT Bhumi Visatanda and PT Management CBT Nusantara. On July 1, 2021, PT TWC received the trust of the Government of the Republic of Indonesia in the Cooperation in the Utilization of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) with the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia.

History of InJourney Destination Management

1978
The Indonesian government in collaboration with the Japanese government conducted a Tourism Development study of National Archeological Parks at Borobudur and Prambanan in Mid-Java with the results of the JICA Study as the Masterplan for the establishment of TWC.
1980
TWC was established under the name of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur and Prambanan (Persero) based on the State Capital Participation of Government Regulation Number 7 of 1980 Jo. Government Regulation No. 52 of 1993. At that time, the Ministry of Finance was asked to develop PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur and Prambanan (Persero) under the Ministry of Transportation.
1985
Operational Period of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur and Prambanan (Persero) under the auspices of the Department of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications.
1992
The operational management of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur and Prambanan (Persero) was strengthened by Presidential Decree No. 1 of 1992.
1994 The scope of management was expanded with the entry of Keraton Ratu Boko since August 3, 1994, so that the company changed its name to PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero)
1996
The operations of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero) are under the auspices of the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises.
2021
The operations of PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko (Persero) are under the management of PT Aviasi Pariwisata Indonesia (Persero) as a sub-Holding for Tourism and Supporting Services, so that the company's corporate status was revoked. In the same year, TWC gained trust from the Government of Indonesia in the Cooperation of Utilization of Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII) with the Ministry of State Secretariat of the Republic of Indonesia.
