Improving Tourism Human Resources by Upskilling Frontliners at the Temple Tourism Park Destination

Improving the quality of service at the Taman Wisata Candi (Temple Tourist Park) is one of InJourney Destination Management's ongoing missions. This is realized through a Hospitality Training Program for tourist service staff at the destination.

A total of 150 frontliners consisting of frontliners or service officers in the field, such as security, operational, and ticketing officers at the destination participated in two days of training, from December 3-4, 2025 at the Ratu Boko Palace.

This effort includes strengthening the understanding of the principles of superior service which consist of service mindset , service skills & hospitality standards and service leadership.

"Through this series of activities, frontliners are expected to be increasingly prepared to act as professional and friendly representatives of the company, able to provide meaningful hospitality at every visit," explained IDM Group Head of Human Capital Doni Asriadi when opening the agenda on Wednesday (3/12/2025).

In this training, participants are encouraged to develop a service mindset or service-oriented mindset, where a person places customer needs, comfort, and satisfaction as the main priority in every action and decision.

Participants are also required to be able to demonstrate service leadership that focuses on serving others first, whether employees, teams, or customers, to create a collaborative, empathetic, and service-oriented work culture.

"We encourage this by implementing service skills & hospitality standards as a set of service skills and standard guidelines that form the basis for creating friendly, professional, consistent, and memorable customer service, in accordance with the values of Indonesian Hospitality," concluded Doni Asriadi.
