TWC Builds Uninhabitable Houses of Tuksongo Borobudur Residents

BUMN Present for the Country, Candi Tourism Park Spends 25 Million to Build Uninhabitable Houses Owned by Tuksongo Borobudur Residents

PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) or PT. TWC officially held a ceremonial laying of the first stone for the construction of an Uninhabitable House (RTLH) owned by Mrs. Marni, a resident of Ganjuran Hamlet, Tuksongo Village, Borobudur District, Monday, February 5, 2018. The laying of the first stone marked the start of the construction process for Mrs. Marni's Uninhabitable House. The assistance for the construction of the Uninhabitable House (RTLH) was realized in the form of building materials worth 25 million

Symbolically, the General Manager of Borobudur Temple Tourism Park (TWCB) I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana and the Head of PKBL Division of PT TWC Bambang Sarwo Edi carried out the First Stone Laying ceremony, witnessed by Borobudur District officials, Tuksongo Village officials, Ganjuran Hamlet Head, officials in the PT TWC environment and residents of Ganjuran Hamlet, Tuksongo Village.

TWCB General Manager, I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana said that the assistance for the construction of RTLH is a form of PT TWC's concern for underprivileged communities.

“The community environment in Borobudur District, especially Ganjuran Hamlet, Tuksongo Village, is our shared social responsibility. When there are residents who may be less fortunate like Mrs. Marni who need help, it is our shared duty to help extend a hand. As we all know, a house is one of the basic needs for humans that must be met properly and well. However, in this case, Mrs. Marni is less fortunate to live in a house with conditions that are far from being suitable as a residence. For that, we, PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (PT TWC) are present in the midst of the community to help ease Mrs. Marni's burden," said I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana.

I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana also added that Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is part of the Community Development Partnership Program, where CSR is one of the benchmarks for the company's image, and sees how big the company's role is in developing the community around the company.

"One of PT TWC's concerns is providing assistance to underprivileged communities, including assistance for Uninhabitable Houses. This is one of the manifestations of TWC's corporate social responsibility towards the environment and society. PT TWC provided assistance for the construction of RTLH owned by Mrs. Marni, a resident of Ganjuran Hamlet, Tuksongo Village, Borobudur District, with a nominal assistance of 25 million. Hopefully what TWC has done can be beneficial for the community, especially Mrs. Marni, a resident of Ganjuran Hamlet, Tuksongo Village, Borobudur District," said I Gusti Putu Ngurah Sedana.

Meanwhile, Head of PKBL Division, Bambang Sarwo Edy said that TWC as a BUMN company will always be present for the country, together to realize a prosperous society. Our hope is that the community can feel the presence of us BUMNs in the midst of society.

"The RTLH development assistance program is one of the Community Development Partnership Programs (PKBL), including the poverty alleviation sector, social community, natural disasters, etc. It is hoped that with this RTLH development assistance, our devotion through BUMN Hadir Untuk Negeri will increase," said Bambang Sarwo Edy.
