TWC Activates Ramadan Safari to Al Ikhlas Orphanage Kulonprogo

RAMADHAN SAFARI – PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) through the Partnership and Community Development Program (PKBL) Division during Ramadhan 1439 H this time conducted a Ramadhan Safari activity at the Al Ikhlas Orphanage.

The first round of the Ramadhan Safari was held on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at the Al Ikhlas Orphanage located in Ngrandu Hamlet, Salamrejo, Sentolo Kulonprogo.

Head of PKBl Division of TWC Bambang Sarwo Eddy said the purpose of Safari Ramadhan is, firstly to strengthen the ties of friendship between PT TWC and Panti Asuhan Al Iklas. Secondly Safari Ramadhan as a social activity media that is beneficial for the community and parties who need help.

"So we are not only fasting but there are things that we can do to help others, including social services to this orphanage, where anything can happen in this month full of blessings, mercy and forgiveness," said Sarwo Eddy.

Meanwhile, the Manager of Al Ikhlas Orphanage, Danti Prelasita SE expressed her gratitude to PT. TWC for the Safari Ramadhan activities, breaking the fast together and providing assistance to Al Iklas Orphanage. Danti said that the total number of students was 85, 12 of whom were assisted at home because some were sick and suffered from a leaky heart, hydrocephalus, autism and paralysis from snake bites.

The background of Al Iklas students are some from street children, victims of the Merapi eruption and there are children who are victims of domestic violence who come from various regions, Nganjuk East Java, Purworejo, Jogja and the furthest from Jakarta. When the Ministry of Social Affairs visited, it was explained that the term for the Orphanage is now LKSA or Child Social Welfare Institution. He said.

In addition, this activity was attended by Uztad Sahrin S. Sos I, in his Tauziah said that the Holy Month of Ramadhan is a month full of Blessings, Grace and forgiveness and some say the month of Burning, some interpret Heat as burning our sins, the Holy Month of Ramadhan some say Syahrut Tarbiyah is a month of education then Syahrul Rohman is a month of Grace, Syahrul Maghfirah is a month full of forgiveness.

The essence of the Tauziah delivered by Ustad Sahrin is that the Holy Month of Ramadan is a month full of Blessings, Mercy and Forgiveness where anything can happen in this month, the behavior of the Prophet Muhammad can be used as an example, namely when breaking the fast, drink something sweet to feel refreshed, then eat 3 dates and do not eat until full. The students and guests of TWC are expected not to eat everything but to drink enough.

It is exemplified how the Prophet arranged the pattern of breaking the fast, namely 1/3 in our stomach for water, 1/3 for food and 1/3 for air, what is the purpose? For health, if performing worship is pleasant and comfortable, then it is also conveyed that Tarwih in this mosque does Tumakninnah or performs 1 night 1 Juz.

In this activity, PT TWC through PKBL TWC distributed aid to the Al Ikhlas Orphanage in the form of sports equipment and basic necessities, the aid was handed over directly by the Head of PKBL TWC Division, Bambang Sarwo Eddy, which was received by the management of the Al Ikhlas Orphanage, Danti, witnessed by the students.
