Temple Tourism is Safe for Tourists to Visit
PT Taman Wisata Candi Borobudur, Prambanan & Ratu Boko (Persero) guarantees that all temple tourist attractions under its management are safe for tourists to visit and are safe from the Corona virus.
"We emphasize that temple tourism, both Borobudur, Prambanan and Ratu Boko temples, are currently in a safe condition for tourists to visit," explained TWC Corporate Secretary Emilia Eny Utari when opening the Corona Virus Prevention Socialization activity attended by dozens of people around Prambanan Temple, Saturday (7/3/2020).
As an anticipatory measure, his party also made various preparations such as checking the body temperature of visitors at the temple tourist attraction. "We provide antiseptic or had sanitizer at several points in the temple complex. In addition, we also check the body temperature of foreign tourists who visit."
Emilia said that her party also provided medical personnel in the temple area so that they could provide assistance quickly if tourists were found to be indicated or experiencing symptoms of being infected with the Corona virus.
"These medical personnel will provide initial treatment. If there are indications, they will be taken directly to the nearest hospital," he said.
In addition, Emilia also advised the community around Prambanan Temple to remain calm and ensure that the Prambanan Temple area is safe and free from the Corona virus.
"We ensure that the area around this temple is safe and free from the Corona virus. We prove this by checking tourists who visit our area," Emilia concluded.
The socialization of the prevention of the Corona virus was carried out directly by Dr. Klama Sari, a doctor at Prambanan Hospital. This doctor, a graduate of Muhammadiyah University of Yogyakarta, explained from the beginning of the emergence of the Corona virus to how to prevent it. In addition, he also provided an understanding of how to wash hands properly and correctly and the use of masks which are useful for preventing dirt from entering the body.
